Featuring Edwin Maina (Kenya), Sanjo Lawal (Nigeria) and Ed Suter (South Africa), the exhibition explores portraiture through three distinct approaches to colour, composition and photography.

Nairobi-based Edwin Maina combines photography with fashion styling and set design, while Nigerian artist Sanjo Lawal creates elaborate portraits using bold fabrics, traditional headwear and elements of painting and collage. South African photographer Ed Suter is known for capturing street fashion, colourful textiles and the distinctive characters he encounters across the country.
