EBONY/CURATED at EXPO CHICAGO 2026
EXPO CHICAGO returns this April to Navy Pier Festival Hall from 9–12 April 2026, bringing together an international roster of modern and contemporary galleries alongside a programme of talks, installations, and public projects.
Founded in 2012, the fair has become one of the leading events on the global art calendar. It combines Chicago’s longstanding cultural legacy with a focused presentation of contemporary artistic practice. Since its acquisition by Frieze in 2023, the fair has continued to expand its international reach, attracting collectors, curators, and institutions from around the world.
EBONY/CURATED returns for its fourth presentation at the fair, exhibiting in the Galleries Section (Booth 117). The gallery will present new works by a group of artists whose practices span painting, sculpture, and conceptual approaches to contemporary art.
Artists presented by EBONY/CURATED include:
- Balekane Legoabe
- Craig Cameron-Mackintosh
- Hugh Byrne
- Ian Garrett
- John Newdigate
- Kamohelo Blessing Rooi
- Oliver Scarlin
- Placido ‘Pocho’ Guimaraes
- Senzeni Marasela
Together, the presentation highlights EBONY/CURATED’s ongoing engagement with contemporary artistic practices from Southern Africa and beyond. A digital catalogue for the presentation will be released closer to the fair.
Collectors and visitors to EXPO CHICAGO can find the gallery at Booth 117 in the Galleries Section throughout the fair.
