Presented across multiple venues in Hermanus, the 2026 visual arts programme forms part of the wider FynArts Festival, which also includes music, literature, and culinary events. The visual arts component offers a rich exploration of place, material, and contemporary practice, anchored by major curated exhibitions, outdoor installations, and a network of participating galleries and studios.
The Hermanus FynArts Festival returns from 6–14 June 2026 with a diverse visual arts programme spanning exhibitions, sculpture installations, curated gallery presentations, and artist-led talks across Hermanus. From large-scale public sculpture at Gearing’s Point to intimate ceramic and fibre exhibitions, the programme highlights both established and emerging voices in South African art.
